Printing issue in Opera II

Asked by: Mal7921 867 views Questions Back to Questions »

Hello, we currently have an issue where an error occurs when one of our accounting users tries to print an invoice.  The error occurs as soon as he clicks on the publish button and the issue is localised to that machine.  We have tried removing all traces of both Opera and all installed printers (Including the Opera PDFPrinter), but as soon as the software is re-installed and run, the error re-occurs.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Hi the first thing I would need to know is what version of Opera are you using and what is the operating system on that workstation?

Is it just one invoice or any invoice?

It’s any invoice, but if he tries the same thing on any other computer it all works fine, so we know the database and the records themselves are ok.

It sounds like there might be an access rights issue on the workstation, can you right click the properties on the Opera.exe and make sure the settings security settings are for windows XP and he is the local admin.

You could try to log in as domain admin and try Opera.
