Importing a CSV or Text Delimited

Hi,

New to Opera and at present can find no way to import data from excel via an import routine.

Please can someone advise if there is a built in import or export function (csv/ txt file) or is a bespoke add on required?

    Hi there. There is an Import function in Opera that can import CSV and DBF files. It is quite difficult to use though, even for experienced users. It also requires a knowledge of Opera’s database structure. If you go to Import and click on Import Wizard and then press the F1 key for context-related help you can get some guidance.

    If you are interested in importing new stock items, or updating existing stock items then I would recommend looking at XL Reports and Data Manager. There is a free trial version available for download on our Downloads page.
